Preschool Stories
The students had a wonderful time this past fall participating in engaging activities with the speech therapist and occupational therapist. They erupted with excitement while creating a bubbling volcano, practiced fine motor skills by exploring pumpkins, and followed step-by-step directions to make a delicious pumpkin pie. These hands-on experiences helped them build language, coordination, and sensory skills in a fun and interactive way. Smiles and laughter filled the room as they learned through play and teamwork.
The preschoolers had an exciting inside during the cold winter months with fun activities planned by the physical therapist. They played with a colorful parachute, lifting it high and running underneath with big smiles. They giggled as they shook the parachute to make waves and worked together to keep balls bouncing on top. The fun continued with an obstacle course, where they crawled through tunnels, jumped over hurdles, and balanced on beams. Through these playful activities, they built strength, coordination, and teamwork while having a blast.
The preschoolers had a blast during visit from the PT crew as they incorporated pumpkins into their exercises. They rolled, lifted, and carried pumpkins, building their strength and coordination. Through these hands-on activities, they improved their motor skills while embracing the excitement of fall.
Preschoolers develop their gross motor skills through various activities that encourage movement and coordination. Riding scooters and tricycles helps improve balance, leg strength, and coordination, while playing with balls enhances their ability to throw, catch, and kick. These activities not only support physical growth but also build confidence and social skills as children engage in active play with their peers.
